This project is Got Fish’s first location in Hampton Roads. Got Fish earned their reputation by providing their customers with fresh, high quality seafood and began to grow their loyal clientele by driving their food truck in seven cities located in the Hampton Roads area.

The design of the entire dining area of the restaurant is strategically divided into three sections.  Each section is a part of the overarching design concept that honors the origin and history of Got Fish.  Those three sections pay homage to “The City, “The Street” and “The House”.

The front section is considered the “City”, an open seating area defined by a L-shape bar counter, which directs people to the service counter. This section resembles a city plaza with outdoor seating.

The center section  is treated as the “Street”. The linear pedestrian “street” is defined by planter boxes and bench seating to bring the outdoors inside. The final section is regarded as the “House”.  As a niche-type space on the inner side of the restaurant, it creates a cozy and homey atmosphere.

From the “City”, through the “Street” and to the “House”Got Fish will continue to make its mark  by serving the community.
